Dr Sheetal VigMBBS, BSc, MRCGP, FRACGP
Dr Sheetal Vig graduated in 2008 from King’s College London with both a BSc and MBBS degree. After completing her two year foundation training Sheetal went onto to work at several busy trauma centres around England, in specialities such as Orthopaedics and Emergency medicine. She obtained her MRCGP in 2014 after three years of varied rotations in an extremely busy inner city London Hospital, with specialities such as Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Orthopaedics and of course General Practice.
After working as a GP in London for a few years, Sheetal decided to make the big move over to Australia in 2016. She has gained since arriving, a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine, and considers this an important part of her practice. She regularly performs minor skin cancer surgeries and is dedicated to further training and development in this area and its application to general practice.
In addition, Sheetal has extensive experience in Cosmetic Medicine and runs a clinic in the city. Having completed her BSc in the Molecular Aspect of Ageing, Sheetal is acutely aware of the cosmetic considerations that dermatological conditions can have.
Clinical Areas of Interest: Skin Cancer Medicine, Dermatology, Cosmetic Medicine, Women’s Health and Paediatrics.
Personal Interests: Sheetal is rather sporty, boxing and playing soccer and tennis on a weekly basis. She also enjoys the outdoor life; hiking, fishing and taking impromptu camping trips.
